We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our childcare program. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of our services, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children, and providing exceptional customer service to parents and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the supervision of children and staff during all activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Counsel children when social, academic, or adjustment problems arise, providing guidance and support to help them overcome challenges.
- Communicate effectively with school staff to ensure the successful provision of accommodations to students with special needs.
- Develop, plan, and prepare instructional aids and materials for activities, maintaining accurate records and evidence of lesson plans, program organizational forms, and staff schedules.
- Ensure the appearance, cleanliness, and safety of the site are maintained at all times, adhering to State Minimum Standards and TRS requirements.
- Maintain all site paperwork, including notes, accident reports, and daily input of attendance and payment data into Eleyo.
- Ensure all Eleyo contracts are complete and tagged properly, assisting parents in completing contracts as needed.
- Check the CCS portal for new students, updates in tuition assistance agreements, and changes in parent fees, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Ensure tuition payments are made monthly, setting up payment plans with parents as needed.
- Maintain accurate accounting and return of unused snacks, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Assist children with meal and snack time, cleaning up afterwards, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings, site events, and parent meetings as requested, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Prepare and implement weekly lesson plans and programs, organizing and scheduling activities to meet the needs of children.
- Ensure the program operates within the approved budget, making informed decisions to optimize resources and achieve goals.
- Ensure all indoor and outdoor equipment is in good working condition, used, and maintained properly, adhering to State Minimum Standards and TRS requirements.
- Physically arrange the site prior to student arrival, including setting up a parent table, and clean up afterwards.
- Communicate effectively with parents, handling concerns and providing support to ensure their needs are met.
- Schedule field trips or speakers related to monthly programs, enhancing the learning experience for children.
- Maintain site postings required by BISD, licensing, and TRS, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Monitor required State and TRS training hours for all staff, ensuring they meet the necessary requirements.
- Ensure monthly and quarterly drills are completed according to licensing requirements, prioritizing the safety and well-being of children.
- Maintain all TRS requirements for the site, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Assist the Program Manager with interviewing, hiring, and training of new site personnel, contributing to the development of a skilled and dedicated team.
- Assist with planning and implementing events, enhancing the overall experience for children and families.
- Meet with and communicate effectively with prospective families, providing information and support to help them make informed decisions.
- Supervise site tours as needed, showcasing the program's facilities and services.
- Arrange student groups in accordance with licensing regulations, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for children.
- Inform the Program Manager of any employee conduct requiring disciplinary action, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
- Present a professional demeanor, demonstrating ethical and responsible behaviors, and conveying a sense of integrity and warmth towards the development of each child.
- Maintain confidentiality, handling sensitive information with discretion and respect.
- Accept temporary work assignments, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to the program's success.
