Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Saint Luke's Health System. As a Spinal Cord Injury Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in the rehabilitation process of our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with spinal cord injuries to enable them to participate in meaningful occupations such as work, daily living activities, and leisure activities.
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment programs to improve functional abilities and quality of life.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to contribute to the rehabilitation process and ensure comprehensive care.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to students, technicians, or assistants as needed.
- Contribute to discharge planning and ensure a smooth transition for patients.
Requirements
- Applicable experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a rehabilitation setting.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of practice.
