About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Games Engineer to join our Games R&D team at Netflix. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative, interactive game experiences that showcase our commitment to creativity and experimentation.
Responsibilities
- Game Development and Prototyping
- Design and develop engaging, interactive game experiences across various platforms and technologies, including Unity3D and UnrealEngine.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive creative intent and experimentation.
- Creative Leadership
- Lead the creative direction of game development projects, ensuring alignment with Netflix's brand and values.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of game development trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a senior engineer shipping multiple AAA, casual, or mobile games.
- Experience building games for early or unfinished platforms.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with multiple game engine technologies, including Unity3D and UnrealEngine.
- Passion for making video games, particularly in a rapid, focused, smaller form versus multi-year investments.
- Experience with C# and C++ programming languages.
- Location
- Remote United States and Canada, with the ability to travel 3-4 times per year to CA.
