Job SummaryWe are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. As a CNA at Glenwood, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals who share your commitment to delivering exceptional care.
Responsibilities- Tend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
- Take and record patient vital signs, lift, move, and transport residents using proper body mechanics.
- Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to nurse management, asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.
- Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
- Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.
- Current Nursing Assistant certification from NC.
- Current/active CPR certification, preferred.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Customer service orientation with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Compassionate and friendly demeanor.
