Vascular Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Technologist to join our team at Weill Cornell Medical College. As a key member of our diagnostic team, you will be responsible for performing a range of non-invasive vascular testing procedures using advanced imaging techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Accompany providers into exam rooms, update patient history, and input data into our practice management system.
- Explain procedures to patients, answer questions, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Perform non-invasive testing procedures, including Doppler, pulse volume recorder, photoplethysmography, and duplex ultrasound imaging.
- Compile test results for physician interpretation and provide preliminary analysis as needed.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting, billing, and follow-up.
- Provide educational resources to physicians, staff, and patients on non-invasive diagnostic testing.
- Maintain inventory, order supplies, and ensure facilities and equipment are in optimal working condition.
- Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences to stay up-to-date on best practices and standards.
- High School Diploma
- Approximately 3 years of experience as a Vascular Technologist or Technician
- Graduation from an accredited diagnostic ultrasound vascular program
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) certification
- BLS Certification (issued by the American Heart Association)
