Speech Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Gainesville, GA. As an SLPA, you will work with elementary-aged students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), supporting their communication and social skills development.
Key Responsibilities- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in implementing therapy plans and activities tailored to the needs of students with ASD.
- Conduct individual and group sessions to promote communication, language, and social skills development.
- Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to the supervising SLP and adjusting activities as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom and home environments.
- Support classroom integration of communication tools and strategies.
- Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field.
- State Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in Georgia.
- Experience working with children, preferably with ASD or other developmental disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
