As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing various sections of the facility, ensuring the production of high-quality components while meeting key performance indicators in safety, quality, and efficiency. This position is for the overnight shift (11pm-7:30am).
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all equipment and processes adhere to safety standards for both employees and the environment, achieving safety objectives.
- Implement and maintain the Quality Management and Environmental Management Systems, along with daily safety protocols.
- Detect and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Assess departmental training requirements and guarantee that team members are adequately trained to operate machinery.
- Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing processes, quality, cost efficiency, and employee development.
- Guide and supervise production staff, addressing any concerns, and monitoring performance, attendance, and leave.
- Manage product flow effectively to align workforce strategies with customer requirements.
- Promote continuous improvement in workplace organization, cleanliness, and preventive maintenance practices.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution; a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
