Economics Adjunct Instructor

Position Overview
The Business Department at Pensacola State College is seeking qualified individuals to teach college-level Economics courses. These courses are offered in various formats, including in-person, live online through Zoom, and asynchronous online learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging instruction to students in Economics.
- Develop and enhance course curricula.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in program assessments and uphold departmental standards.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a master's degree in Economics or a master's degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Economics from an accredited institution. A successful criminal background check is mandatory. Instructors should demonstrate proficiency in the technology necessary for the courses they are assigned to teach.

Compensation:
Adjunct Faculty compensation is based on the level of education:
- Master's Degree: $34.00 per hour
- Doctorate: $37.00 per hour
Note: This position is part of an open applicant pool, and selections are made by the department as needed.
