Job Title: Detox Counselor

The Salvation Army ATS is seeking a part-time Detox Counselor to provide clinical services to clients in need of substance abuse treatment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social services and be able to work effectively with individuals struggling with addiction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual counseling and group education sessions to clients
  • Conduct screenings, admissions, and discharges for Detox clients
  • Collaborate with the Detox Clinical Supervisor to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Communicate effectively with outside agencies and community resources
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year of experience in substance abuse treatment or a related field
  • CSAC or master's degree in behavioral health science preferred
  • Current CPR/First Aid Training required
