Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at UCHealth. This role will provide support in a clinical setting, performing routine tasks and administrative duties under the supervision of healthcare professionals.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with patient care, including basic clinical skills, specimen collection, and monitoring patient conditions. They will also maintain equipment and medical supplies, perform administrative duties, and document patient care provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient care and exams, including taking vital signs and preparing patients for procedures.
  • Perform basic clinical skills, such as injections and phlebotomy, under the direction of a provider or nurse.
  • Maintain examination areas, restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Perform administrative duties, including data entry, scheduling, and patient registration.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
