- Coordinate new resident orientation, medication management, and hospitalization processes.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and communication with residents, families, and healthcare providers.
- Lead and support a team of resident care staff, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
- Monitor departmental spending and staffing schedules to ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Valid LPN license
- CPR/First Aid certification (or as required by state regulations)
- State required certifications, training, and continuing education
- 1-2 years of experience in managing a diverse workforce, preferably in geriatric, rehabilitation, nursing, or assisted living environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine appreciation for elderly individuals
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and multitask in a fast-paced environment
