Physical Demands:

This role necessitates prolonged periods of sitting at a workstation, occasional lifting of items weighing up to 25 pounds, and the ability to lift, push, or pull objects exceeding 50 pounds. The position may involve some travel related to job duties. There is a potential risk of back injury from moving or positioning patients and exposure to challenging situations involving patients. Completion of a Non-Violent Crisis Prevention course is required, as physical interventions may be necessary to ensure patient safety.

Work Schedule:

Availability to work three shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM weekly, including some weekends and holidays.

Role Overview:

The Mental Health Associate plays a crucial role in supporting licensed healthcare professionals in delivering care to patients with primary psychiatric conditions. This position requires certification in Non-Violent Crisis Prevention, as physical team interventions may be part of the responsibilities to maintain patient safety.

Preferred Skills:

Preferred qualifications include CPR/BCLS certification, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification, familiarity with medical terminology, and flexibility in scheduling.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not entail supervisory duties.

Preferred Experience:

One to three years of relevant experience in an allied health field is preferred.
