About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at St. Joseph Hospital, a member of Catholic Health. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our nursing staff.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities and provide emotional support
  • Collect and document patient data, including vital signs and medical history
  • Administer treatments and procedures as directed by nursing staff
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on health-related topics
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of a CNA training program or equivalent experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
