Job Description

A leading Food Manufacturer is seeking an experienced Director of Logistics and Supply Chain Management to oversee the company's logistics and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Logistics Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of warehousing and transportation to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Strategic Logistics Planning: Develop and implement scalable logistics strategies to support business growth.
  • Supply Chain Management: Manage the expansion of the supply chain both domestically and internationally by sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with vendors and 3PLs.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Create and monitor dashboards and reporting systems to track performance metrics and enhance logistics processes.
  • Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to continuously improve logistics processes and stay current with industry advancements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work with Customer Service and Accounts Receivable to minimize delivery-related fines and penalties.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing logistics team.
  • Operational Strategic Planning: Execute the operational strategic plan, including project selection, resource management, and technology innovation.
