About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Event Operations Manager to join our team at Kings Dominion. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of event execution, ensuring seamless communication between clients, sales teams, and park stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Drive client, sales team, and park team collaboration and coordination for Group Sales events.
  • Effectively manage day-of event execution for all group events, supervising support teams and serving as lead decision-maker.
  • Manage labor and expense budgets assigned by management.
  • Work closely with sales office staff to ensure accurate event order details, catering space, billing, and applicable events execution data entry.
  • Lead the execution of in-park sponsorships to align with national and regional agreements.
  • Exhibit reliable communication standards, serving as the hub between clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
  • High School diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Sales, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of basic business software applications, ability to multi-task, strong time and project management skills.
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
