Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a seasoned executive to lead our Physician Enterprise as Chief Operating Officer. This key role will oversee the strategic direction and operational excellence of our physician practices, ensuring seamless access to expert care for patients and referring physicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive clinical and operational excellence, quality, and patient safety across the physician enterprise.
  • Lead the development and implementation of ambulatory network strategies, focusing on patient needs and optimal service delivery in the community.
  • Collaborate with physician dyad partners and operations leaders to drive national preeminence and achieve U.S. News & World Report goals.
  • Build and grow best-in-class practice management for the physician enterprise, including setting practice standards, organization models, and infrastructure.
  • Maintain strong relationships with physicians and physician leadership to ensure Children's is well-positioned to adapt to market trends and maintain focus on smart growth and clinical excellence.
Requirements
  • At least ten years of experience leading a large physician practice or physician group with a proven track record in relationship building and business management.
  • Proven ability to formulate operational and business strategies, guide the development of operating plans, and drive performance to achieve or surpass goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to present complex information in a concise, yet comprehensive manner to leadership, medical staff, and employees.
  • Strong financial skills and a proven ability to achieve sustainable and significant cost efficiencies on an organization-wide basis.
