Job Summary

CharterCARE Health Partners is seeking a highly skilled Security Officer, Lead to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will provide direction and support to security officers, ensuring all duties are performed according to established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the leadership team in responding to security incidents and emergencies
  • Perform all duties of the Security Officer, including providing security services to patients, visitors, and staff
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and secure environment
  • Develop and implement security protocols to prevent and respond to security incidents
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Law Enforcement or equivalent experience
  • Valid RI license to operate a motor vehicle
  • One year experience in security or police force, or two years military experience
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, and reach without restrictions
  • Ability to lift between 25 and 50 pounds using good body mechanics
Working Conditions

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergency situations. May be exposed to all patient care elements within the hospital setting, including risk of needle punctures and exposure to ionizing radiation.

Must meet annual safety training requirements and have the ability to sit, walk, run, and stand for long periods of time.
