Neurodiagnostic Specialist

UnityPoint Health is seeking a skilled Neurodiagnostic Technician to join our team. As a Neurodiagnostic Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Sleep Disorders Center.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients' educational needs and develop effective teaching plans.
- Document patient data accurately and thoroughly.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in unit operations, demonstrating professionalism and a commitment to resource utilization.
- Engage in non-direct patient care activities, including education, quality improvement, and committee work.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer relations skills and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Adhere to unit and hospital policies, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Diploma or degree in a college-level science field, such as polysomnography or electroneurodiagnostics.
- Registration as a Polysomnography Technician or Electroneurodiagnostic Technician, or eligibility for registry.
- Ability to exercise good judgment, maintain good interpersonal relationships, and adapt to change.
