Job Title: Neurodiagnostic Technician

UnityPoint Health is seeking a skilled Neurodiagnostic Technician to join our team. As a Neurodiagnostic Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Sleep Disorders Center.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients' educational needs and develop effective teaching plans.
  • Document patient data accurately and thoroughly.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in unit operations, demonstrating professionalism and a commitment to resource utilization.
  • Engage in non-direct patient care activities, including education, quality improvement, and committee work.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer relations skills and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Adhere to unit and hospital policies, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma or degree in a college-level science field, such as polysomnography or electroneurodiagnostics.
  • Registration as a Polysomnography Technician or Electroneurodiagnostic Technician, or eligibility for registry.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment, maintain good interpersonal relationships, and adapt to change.
