Job Summary

The Community Support Supervisor is a key member of our team at Compass Health Network, responsible for overseeing the delivery of community support services to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. This role requires a strong understanding of community support standards and the ability to ensure that staff are providing high-quality services that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Provide guidance and support to staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide effective community support services.
  • Ensure Compliance with Regulations: Ensure that all staff members understand and comply with relevant regulations and standards, including the DMH Core Rules.
  • Coordinate Community Support Services: Work with clients, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement individualized support plans that promote recovery and community integration.
  • Monitor and Evaluate Services: Regularly review and evaluate the effectiveness of community support services, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
  • Collaborate with Other Agencies: Work with other agencies and organizations to ensure seamless coordination of services and support for clients.
  • Provide Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks, such as payroll, personnel files, and employee evaluations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 2 years of experience in community support services or a related field.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of community support standards, regulations, and best practices; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
