Job Title: Family Intervention Specialist

Join Youth Villages as a Family Intervention Specialist and make a positive impact on the lives of at-risk youth and their families.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to provide intensive home-based therapy to families. As a Family Intervention Specialist, you will work closely with families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, providing support and guidance to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide intensive home-based therapy to families, including individual and family sessions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each family
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and teachers, to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting families
  • Conduct regular supervision meetings to ensure the highest level of care and support for families
  • Document progress and outcomes, using web-based documentation tools
  • Be available on-call to families during the week and one weekend per month
  • Travel to meet with families in their homes, up to 60-80 miles
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in a related field, such as social work, counseling, or psychology
  • At least one year of experience working with at-risk youth and their families
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
