Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing wound care, and assisting with daily living activities.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Minimum of six months of experience as a Clinical Nurse I, or equivalent experience in a comparable role.
- Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), with other certifications as required by the facility or unit/department specialty.
- Certification in chemotherapy, trauma nursing, or other specialized areas of nursing.
- Experience working in a hospital setting, with a focus on patient care and team leadership.
