About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled PACU/Pre-Postoperative Registered Nurse to join our team in Oakland, California.

Job Summary: The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care in our post-anesthesia care unit, working closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care to patients recovering from anesthesia, monitoring their vital signs and overall condition
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify potential complications, and take appropriate action to prevent or manage them
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure accurate and timely information exchange
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety

Requirements:

  • Active RN license in the state of California
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in PACU or post-anesthesia care
  • Strong clinical skills, with a focus on patient safety and quality care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities

About Travel Nurse Source:

Salary: $2,640 per week, based on 40 hours of work per week at $40.00 per hour.

Location: Oakland, California 94609.

Job Type: Full-time, 5x8-hour shift, 07:00 - 03:30.
