Position Overview

As a key member of the HR team at JBS USA, the HR Coordinator plays a vital role in managing employee data and supporting personnel functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter new hire information into the SAP system accurately and efficiently.
  • Update employee compensation changes in a timely manner.
  • Provide assistance to employees regarding personnel inquiries.
  • Serve as a language interpreter for employees facing communication barriers.
  • Process leave of absence documentation for production staff.
  • Compile and maintain seniority lists for job bidding purposes.
  • Manage and input all union-related data into the system.
  • Perform administrative tasks for the HR department, including support for the HR Manager and other management personnel.
  • Engage in structured daily tasks with performance evaluations based on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Coordinate YMCA enrollment for production employees.
  • Handle filing, phone inquiries, and additional clerical responsibilities as needed.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based setting.
  • Standard work schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with potential Saturday shifts and overtime pay for hours exceeding 40.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is preferred.
  • Understanding of payroll processes.
  • Familiarity with attendance management systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Flexibility in adapting to changing needs is advantageous.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English or another language is required.

Education Requirements:

  • A minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
