Key Responsibilities:- Support facility upkeep by executing basic maintenance tasks.
- Utilize a backhoe for cleaning wash racks, material bins, and refuse transfer stations.
- Manage wastewater removal from facility vaults and tanks.
- Ensure the transfer area meets compliance standards during inspections.
- Relevant experience in facility maintenance or janitorial services.
- Combination of training and experience equivalent to the above.
- Fundamental facility maintenance techniques.
- Basic repair skills.
- Understanding of janitorial methods and practices.
- Safe handling of cleaning agents.
- Ability to interact effectively in a public environment with diverse individuals.
- Capability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Proficient in understanding and communicating in English.
- Ability to read and adhere to instructions and safety guidelines.
- Familiarity with using a personal computer.
- Possession of a valid California Class "C" Driver's License.
- Certification for forklift operation.
