Medical Sales Director for Pharmaceutical Industry

We are looking to add a Medical Sales Director to our growing Commercial Team and join us on our goal of enabling care at home for everyone. This is a critical role that will drive awareness and adoption of our product line into the pharmaceutical industry.
Job DescriptionThis position involves building and managing a customer sales funnel through creative demand generation efforts targeting Clinical Leadership and Digital Innovation. The ideal candidate will adopt and own the Current Health product line selling process, including CRM management, to drive all opportunities through the funnel stages from new lead to close.
The successful candidate will lead customer demos and presentations both in-person and virtually, drive over-plan revenue and customer acquisition performance by identifying customer needs, building business plans, and leading negotiation efforts with identified accounts. They will also accurately forecast revenues within the quarter and year, build strategic partnerships with prospective and current customers, and act as a voice of the customer internally within various departments.
This role requires representing the company at industry events, webinars, and trade shows, becoming an expert on the marketplace, Current Health product line solutions, and competitive landscape, and partnering with product development on solution-market fit and user feedback across other business disciplines. Direct work with Key Opinion Leaders in the space to build awareness and evidence is also required.
Basic Qualifications- 5+ years' experience selling digital, clinical technology solutions to pharmaceutical companies
- Prior experience directly in a CRO, pharma focused technology company or a pharmaceutical company
- Must be able to travel up to 50%
- MSA and contracting expertise
- Previous experience selling disruptive technologies to multiple stakeholders within a client organization
- Extensive relationships in pharmaceutical industry with a preferred focus in oncology
- Strong written, verbal, and story-telling skills
- Advanced degree or equivalent
$120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on location and experience.
