Join Our Team as a Part Time Math Teacher

Brightmont Academy is seeking a qualified Part Time Math Teacher to join our team. As a Part Time Math Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching math to elementary, middle, or high school aged students in a one-to-one setting.

About the Role

This part time position allows you to work with our Campus Director to set your own schedule based on your hours of availability in conjunction with our open class slots that need to be filled. You will have the opportunity to work with students who identify with a variety of learning styles while helping them develop better learning strategies needed for school and career success.

Responsibilities
  • Teach math to elementary, middle, or high school aged students in a one-to-one setting
  • Work with students who identify with a variety of learning styles
  • Help students develop better learning strategies needed for school and career success
  • Collaborate with other instructors and professionals in your area of expertise
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in math or a related field
  • Proficiency in technology resources and curricula
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills
  • A collaborative and exploratory approach to learning
  • A passion for math and a desire to share it with our students
Preferred Qualifications
  • Teaching certification
  • Advanced degree in math or a related field
  • Experience using G-Suite and Chromebooks
  • Previous one-to-one teaching experience
