About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse with IntelyCare, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality nursing care in post-acute facilities, such as skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) and assisted living facilities (ALFs). You will be responsible for administering individualized treatments and medications to residents, developing care plans in conjunction with residents and medical teams, and setting up medical equipment and monitoring their use.
Responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality nursing care to residents in post-acute facilities
- Administering individualized treatments and medications to residents
- Developing care plans in conjunction with residents and medical teams
- Setting up medical equipment and monitoring their use
- Going over care options with residents and family members
- Meeting and consulting with physicians and other healthcare staff as needed
- Collecting and processing lab samples
- Accurately documenting interventions and medical condition histories
- Investigating incidents and ensuring accurate reporting
- Training and supervising nursing staff
Requirements:
- Current Illinois state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Completion of an approved nursing program
- Experience in either post-acute care or in-patient hospital settings (at least 4 months)
- Excellent organizational skills
