About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Surveying and Mapping Project Manager to join our team at Insight Global. As a Surveying and Mapping Project Manager, you will play a vital role in our continued success and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and lead the processing of surveying and mapping related documents with local governmental agencies.
- Have in-depth knowledge of subdivision mapping, including final and parcel maps, record of surveys, legal descriptions, ALTA's, etc.
- Receive conventional and GPS field survey data and process, organize, document, and export data.
- Demonstrate knowledge of surveying practices and field methods as well as the principles of mapping subdivision maps, record of surveys, legal descriptions, condominium plans, ALTA surveys, and topographic surveys.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-6+ year experience in surveying/mapping under a licensed surveyor.
- Licensed Surveyor (PLS) or LSIT (Land Surveyor in Training).
- Experienced in drafting Plats and Legal Descriptions.
- Advanced in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Experienced in survey and coordinate geometry related calculations.
- Knowledge and experience in the preparation of Survey related documents including subdivision maps, record of surveys, legal descriptions, condominium plans, ALTA surveys, and topographic surveys.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Field Survey experience.
- Trimble Business Center.
- ArcGIS.
- FAA Part 107 Registration.
- Pix4D.
- Revit.
