Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Las Palmas Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in our Intermediate Care unit, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and coordinate treatment plans in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare team
  • Develop and maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and families
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Texas
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Preferred experience as an RN in Critical Care or Med-Surg/Telemetry
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
