Position Overview:
This role demands a minimum of five years of expertise in carpentry, concrete work, excavation, plumbing, or electrical contracting.
Key Responsibilities:
The Construction Foreman will support the Superintendent in overseeing the installation and guidance of team members in tasks such as framing, joist and rafter installation, flooring, as well as minor plumbing and electrical repairs. Additionally, the foreman will handle general maintenance tasks for both residential and commercial properties.
Physical Requirements:
Candidates must be capable of lifting up to 50lbs and working in varying temperature conditions. Climbing ladders and scaffolding with appropriate safety gear is essential.
Leadership and Management:
The foreman should confidently manage construction laborers and work autonomously. Assisting the superintendent with scheduling and material procurement is also a critical aspect of this role.
Employment Type:
This is a full-time, hourly wage position. Employees may be eligible for prevailing wage compensation on qualifying projects.
