POSITION SUMMARY

The Assistant Café Manager plays a crucial role in fostering an exceptional atmosphere for both customers and team members, aligned with Colectivo Coffee's Mission and Values.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures the café achieves positive financial outcomes in line with the established budget.
  • Contributes to the development of a culture centered on accountability and ongoing enhancement, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and established processes.
  • Trains and mentors team members to fulfill their job responsibilities, promoting high performance levels.
  • Delegates specific tasks utilizing the Café Functional Architecture Model.
  • Guarantees that the café's coffee, food, and administrative operations deliver an outstanding customer experience through Colectivo's offerings and environment.
  • Models a positive and vibrant atmosphere that is welcoming and motivating for both customers and team members.
  • Engages in the long-term strategic planning for the café.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

  • A college degree in a business-related discipline and/or a minimum of two years of experience in a management or supervisory role.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficient in POS systems and computer applications.
  • Basic mathematical skills for business applications.
  • Availability and flexibility for a schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Willingness to transfer to another café within the designated market as required by business needs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, reach, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
  • Commitment to a minimum of 40 hours per week.
