Job Summary

The City of Monroe, OH is seeking a highly skilled Firefighter/EMT/Paramedic to join our team. As a Firefighter/EMT/Paramedic, you will be responsible for responding to emergency situations, providing medical care, and conducting fire prevention activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency calls, including fires, medical emergencies, and other incidents
  • Provide medical care, including administering oxygen, CPR, and other first aid procedures
  • Conduct fire prevention activities, including inspections and education
  • Operate fire equipment, including fire trucks and ambulances
  • Participate in training and drills to maintain skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of the State Firefighter II Certification Program and EMT Certificate
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ohio State Career Firefighter II Certification
  • Ohio certificate to practice as an EMT-Basic, EMT-Advanced, or EMT-Paramedic
