Responsibilities

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards
  • Test-driving vehicles and testing components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
  • Communicating directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional services needed and provide estimates of time required for repairs
  • Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Minimum of 2 years of Service Technician experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • B-level qualifications, including expertise in diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair
  • Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Outstanding customer service skills and basic computer proficiency
  • Positive, friendly attitude with a strong desire to learn and improve
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment
  • Willingness to stay updated with new technology, repair procedures, and service specifications
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
