We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our team and provide top-notch patient care.

Responsibilities

As a Dialysis Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care at one of our in-center hemodialysis units. This will involve ensuring safe care and prioritizing the highest quality outcomes for every patient. You will work as part of a patient care team to deliver comprehensive care and support to our patients.

What You Can Expect

- Prepare dialysis machines and treatment supplies, ensuring quality standards are met
- Perform hemodialysis treatments according to facility policies and procedures
- Ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching
- Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physicians and families
- Administer and chart all prescribed medications
- Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations
- Participate in patient care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews
- Document required patient education efforts
- Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
- Assist in medication inventory maintenance
- Lead a small patient care team
- Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed

Qualifications

- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated clinical excellence
- Desire to collaborate with care teams
- Ability to problem solve

Education/Training

- Accredited nursing degree required
- Dialysis experience not required, job shadow opportunities available
- DCI provides 3-months of comprehensive training, including classroom group sessions and one-on-one skills training
