As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in implementing various group and individual program components during the afternoon and evening hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, administer, and evaluate direct client services in coordination with case plans and individual needs.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and healthy environment for clients, promoting a sense of community and well-being.
  • Support clients in achieving their goals in areas such as parenting, education, employment, and stable housing, fostering independence and self-sufficiency.
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents/clients, staff, volunteers, community groups, and organizations, building a network of support and resources.
  • Provide intake interviews and program orientation as required, ensuring a smooth transition for new clients.
  • Maintain required records and logs for each client, adhering to confidentiality and data protection protocols.
  • Support clients in accomplishing goals in their individualized case plans, providing guidance and encouragement along the way.
  • Support clients regarding daily living skills, parenting, personal care, and residential policies, promoting a culture of respect and understanding.
  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary, responding with empathy and professionalism.
  • Provide a positive role model from which clients can grow and develop, inspiring hope and resilience.
  • Provide care for infants and children in the Hope Center shelter care facility, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Administrative and Facility-Related Responsibilities
    • Perform required cleaning and maintenance tasks of the interior and exterior of the facility, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
    • Provide tours, program information, and hospitality as needed for volunteers, promoting a positive image of the organization.
    • Attend all staff meetings and in-service trainings, staying up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
    • Carry out all other duties and programs as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements

  • Valid Wisconsin driver's license.
  • Successful completion of criminal background check.
  • High school diploma required; degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Development, Child/Youth Development, or related field preferred.
  • An ability to safely provide direct services to individuals experiencing homelessness as well as young parents and their children.
  • Appropriate interpersonal communication skills and a sensitivity and understanding of the needs of a diverse, multicultural clientele.
  • Ability to work effectively with others, building strong relationships and a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to maintain flexible work hours, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Ability to plan and organize work, making effective use of time and resources.
