Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented OB Tech to join our team at The Christ Hospital Cardiovascular Associates. As an OB Tech, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our surgical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with surgical procedures, including preparing the operating room, setting up equipment, and maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Provide technical support to the surgical team, including suctioning, retracting, and assisting with skin closure.
  • Assist with patient care, including vital sign monitoring, pulse oximetry, and capnography.
  • Collect and transport specimens, and ensure proper processing and documentation.
  • Participate in unit clerical functions, including registering patients, updating delivery logs, and creating and maintaining patient charts.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or equivalent required.
  • Active STNA certification or proof of successful completion of a state-sponsored Medicaid Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program required.
  • 6-12 months of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
