Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care by greeting individuals with compassion and professionalism.
- Manage incoming communications, including phone calls and messages, while providing courteous outreach to patients.
- Oversee the organization and filing of patient records, ensuring easy access and confidentiality.
- Uphold the daily operations of the office by adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to adapt to various roles and responsibilities as needed.
- Safeguard patient privacy by maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize NextGen software to retrieve and manage patient information effectively.
- Confirm appointments and maintain compliance through proactive patient communication.
- Address inquiries, resolve concerns, collect co-payments, and coordinate patient scheduling.
- Execute opening and closing procedures for the office as required.
- Assist in creating a comforting environment for patients and maintaining the reception area.
- Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in medical administration is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical insurance verification is advantageous.
- Understanding of medical terminology and procedures, with the ability to engage knowledgeably with patients and referring physicians.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is preferred.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.

Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Compensation
- Pay Rate: $17 per hour
