As a Manager in Training, you will gain valuable insights into the daily operations of managing a convenience store, guided by our experienced leaders.
Your training will involve working closely with a Training Manager and Supervising Manager, where you will experience various shifts to familiarize yourself with our company, our retail team, our suppliers, and our customers.
This role is essential in supporting the Store Manager and team members to ensure an outstanding shopping experience for our guests.
Training Overview:
During designated training weeks, Managers in Training will collaborate with Training Managers to learn effective management practices for convenience store operations.
In the weeks between training, you will engage in various shifts alongside team members, applying your leadership skills in real-world scenarios.
Upon completion of training, you will join our leadership team, stepping in during absences until you are assigned to your own store.

Your Responsibilities:• Welcome guests warmly and ensure a friendly atmosphere.
• Assist the Store Manager in building and nurturing a strong team through training, scheduling, and coaching.
• Lead by example, setting clear goals and maintaining accountability among team members.
• Monitor inventory levels on the sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and rotated.
• Oversee quality control, merchandising, and food safety in locations offering prepared food.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including the coffee station and food service areas.
• Efficiently operate the cash register.
• Support the Store Manager in adhering to safety and quality guidelines for food service operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Store Manager or District Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
• At least 1 year of experience in retail or food service
• Previous leadership experience in retail, guest service, or restaurant settings
• ServSafe/Food Safety certification is a plus but not required
Essential Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High energy and adaptability
• Team-oriented with a willingness to assist others
• Basic computer skills are beneficial
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position requiring flexibility to work various hours, including nights and weekends, as our locations may operate 24/7.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
• Capability to stand or walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks in various environments, including cooler areas.
Additional Information:
• Specialized attire may be required in food service areas (hats, gloves, etc. will be provided).
