LaborMax Staffing is seeking a skilled Traffic Control Flagger to join our team. As a Traffic Control Flagger, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of workers and the public by managing the flow of vehicles and pedestrians around construction and road maintenance sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and control movement of vehicular and pedestrian traffic at or near construction sites.
- Use signs, hand signals, and flags to communicate with motorists.
- Set up and remove traffic control signs and devices at the beginning and end of the day.
- Coordinate with other flaggers and team members to ensure traffic flows smoothly and safely.
- Stay alert and maintain a safe environment for yourself, your team, and the public.
- Report any issues or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
Requirements:
- Must be certified in traffic control and flagging operations (training and certification provided if necessary).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent situational awareness.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
