Industrial Environmental Operations Manager

Moran Environmental Recovery, LLC (MER) is an integrated environmental company specializing in providing services to the energy and industrial sectors. With operations based in strategically located resource centers along the United States eastern and gulf coasts, our services range from routine maintenance work to large-scale site remediation and abatement.
We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Environmental Operations Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects at one time, ensuring the safety, quality, and profitability of all activities performed on assigned jobs.
Responsibilities- Manage field operations by directing personnel and equipment on assigned jobs to deliver client services that meet company objectives of quality, customer satisfaction, profitability, and growth.
- Responsible for daily activities of assigned jobs through direct report foremen and other field and support personnel.
- Implement and ensure compliance with MER's Health & Safety Program and site-specific Health and Safety Plans (HASP's) on assigned jobs.
- Review work orders to ensure client contact information, site address, time budget, resource requirements, work plan, site conditions, project specifications, quality assurance, and other necessary details are clear and adequate.
- Assist program managers in scoping projects or developing operating plans as required.
- C coordinate logistical determinations and decisions on assigned jobs to ensure client expectations are exceeded.
- Ensure pre-project clearances, notifications, and conditions are met.
- Monitor and report progress of all assigned projects by regularly communicating with responsible field personnel and operations management.
- Prepare, accumulate, and/or review required project documentation for assigned jobs to ensure completeness, accuracy, quality, timeliness, and follow-up actions are carried out.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a foreman is required.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills, training, and/or experience.
- Strong communication (written and verbal), analytical, and persuasive skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, employees, and management at all levels.
- Multi-task oriented with strong supervisory, time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to understand and analyze job costs, profit, and loss.
- Able to read, understand, and implement Work Plans and site Health and Safety Plans of assigned jobs.
- Familiarity with OSHA 1910, 1915, and 1926 standards, DOT standards, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
- Ability to work in various environments, including those involving hazardous conditions that may require lifting or exerting force exceeding 50 pounds.
- Meet MER and DOT driving requirements to operate company vehicles and equipment.
- Able to work in excess of regular hours when necessary.
- Able to travel overnight as required by business needs.
