Job Title: Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead and oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of cybersecurity projects. The successful candidate will have a background in cybersecurity and risk management, with experience in project management software and a strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end management of cybersecurity and risk management projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, and budgets.
  • Work with internal teams and external clients to define project objectives, deliverables, and security requirements.
  • Manage project schedules, resources, and tasks using project management methodologies, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of cybersecurity services.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales and the technical advisory and consulting team to execute projects aligned with security best practices.
  • Ensure projects comply with cybersecurity frameworks and regulations, such as PCI, SOC 2, NIST, PCI DSS, HIPAA/HITRUST, and ISO 27001.
  • Identify potential security risks and collaborate with technical teams to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present project status updates and risk assessments to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Act as the main point of contact for client engagements, addressing their cybersecurity needs and concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in technical project management
  • Cybersecurity or Information Security experience a plus
  • Certifications (preferred): PMP, CISM, CISSP, or similar project management and security certifications.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and regulations (e.g., NIST, PCI DSS, HIPAA, ISO
  • Experience in project management software
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills.
