Overview

St. Mark's Hospital is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist PRN to join our team. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of Ultrasound Procedures, including diagnostic imaging and patient assessment.
  • Develop and implement exam protocols to provide accurate diagnostic information to interpreting physicians.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Assume responsibility for specified examinations and provide guidance to student technologists.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques.

Requirements

  • Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification within 1 year of employment start date.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.

In addition to ER care, both facilities give comprehensive imaging services, including computerized tomography (CT scan), Xray, and ultrasound as well as a fully-equipped medical laboratory.
