Job Summary:
As a Polysomnographic Technologist at CHRISTUS Health, you will play a critical role in performing sleep disorder studies accurately and safely as ordered by physicians. Your expertise will be essential in operating all equipment utilized for sleep disorder diagnosis and treatment, including calibrating and adjusting equipment as needed. You will work closely with physicians to determine testing parameters and procedures, and score sleep/wake stages. Additionally, you will complete and verify records of all procedures performed, and oversee unusual and difficult procedures. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be valuable assets in this role.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a 4-year BA/BS in a healthcare-related field, and at least 3 years of experience as a Polysomnographic Technologist. You will also need to be registered in good standing with a credentialing organization, such as the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGT). Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality, are also essential.
