Job Summary

As a School Occupational Therapist (OT), you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being and academic success of students within our educational setting. Your expertise in occupational therapy will empower students to overcome challenges and develop essential skills for independent participation in school life.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify individual student needs and create personalized intervention plans.
  • Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions, focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to ensure seamless integration of therapy goals within the classroom environment.
  • Provide valuable training and support to teachers and staff in implementing therapeutic strategies.
  • Maintain meticulous records of student progress and generate detailed reports for parents and the educational team.

Qualifications

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
