We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Soliant. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with students who have physical, sensory, or cognitive disabilities to promote success in academic and social participation.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluation and Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations to assess students' motor, sensory, and adaptive skills.
- Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment results and student needs.
- Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students to improve fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create strategies that help students thrive in the classroom.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy as needed.
- IEP Participation: Participate in IEP meetings, offering insight and recommendations to help shape student goals.
- Staff Training: Educate and train school staff and parents to implement therapeutic strategies beyond therapy sessions.
- Education: Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Licensure: Valid state OT license.
- Experience: Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
