Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our Heavy Civil Team at our York Field Service Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting, lubricating, and repairing heavy construction equipment in our shop and at job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and lubricate heavy construction equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Repair and troubleshoot heavy trucks and construction equipment, including removal of defective parts and installation of new or rebuilt parts
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure operating efficiency
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical systems
  • Repair hydraulic systems
  • Assist in dismantling and/or assembling cranes
  • Perform preventative maintenance checks and inspections

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Minimum CDL B required
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic in the construction industry
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment
