Job Summary

Brookdale Sakonnet Bay is seeking a skilled and experienced Healthcare Administrator to lead our healthcare team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for directing the day-to-day healthcare functions of our community, ensuring the highest degree of quality care is provided to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan, develop, and implement healthcare programs and activities to ensure the best possible care for our residents.
  2. Review and update community policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current regulations.
  3. Represent the community in dealings with outside agencies and provide written and oral reports to the Executive Director.
  4. Conduct routine inspections of the community to ensure established policies and procedures are being implemented and followed.
  5. Assist in identifying and evaluating job-related functions to ensure tasks involving potential exposure to blood/body fluids are properly identified and recorded.
  6. Develop and implement plans of correction for deficiencies noted during survey inspections.
  7. Serve on various committees and provide written/oral reports to the governing board.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of three years experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital or long-term care facility.
  • Current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator's license or meet the licensure requirements of the State.
