Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer Mission Assurance to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our Roy, Utah Sentinel Team, you will be responsible for providing mission assurance support to ensure the success of our programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform technical reviews of all Sentinel drawings, SOWs, and requirements documents to ensure compliance with program requirements.
  • Assess Sentinel performance and risks, and determine resources to ensure mission assurance.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Sentinel Program Quality Plans.
  • Assign program tasks to functional area PQEs and lead and facilitate Sentinel program FRBs to ensure identification of root cause and proper implementation of corrective actions.
  • Support PQM in preparation and execution of Program Preventive and Corrective Action Board (PCAB) and develop and maintain Sentinel Program Metrics.
Requirements
  • 14 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, or 12 years of experience with a Master's degree, or 9 years of experience with a PhD.
  • US Citizenship and Active Secret Clearance required at time of application, with ability to obtain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance and Special Program Access (SAP).
  • Experience with quality management systems to support program processes, audits, and improvement.
  • Experience with system engineering processes and previous technical experience with ICBM.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
  • Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with Special Program Access (SAP).
  • Understanding of Model Based Systems Engineering concepts and knowledge of AFSPCMAN 91-710.
  • Experience with manufacturing and test labs quality assurance processes and experience with root cause corrective actions and MRB.
