Key Responsibilities:
- Assess bridge project requirements, assist in defining project scope, and establish design budgets.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to grasp project needs and deliver integrated solutions.
- Create bridge design criteria and task lists for Project Engineers. Design intricate components of bridges and coordinate with Project Engineers to finalize construction documents.
- Conduct quality control evaluations at critical milestones. Review documents for completeness and adherence to company and client standards.
- Offer technical guidance and support to team members, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.
- Encourage innovation by keeping abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a structural focus from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in the relevant practice area.
- A minimum of four years of experience in bridge design.
- Experience with Kansas or Oklahoma DOT design projects is preferred.
- Familiarity with current bridge design standards and practices is essential.
- Proficiency in Bentley Products and finite element analysis software is advantageous.
