Neuro ICU Registered Nurse

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant II to join our Neuroscience ICU team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development of our patients' treatment plans.
Responsibilities:- Assess and manage patients with complex medical and surgical conditions, including neurological and neurosurgical patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, wound care, and other interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
- Perform procedures, such as lumbar punctures, NGT placement, and central line placement, as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, including progress notes, procedure notes, and discharge summaries.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- 2 years of experience in ICU or critical care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
